Our School
Richard R. Green High School of Teaching is a mid-sized public high school of 500 students, located in the Financial District of Manhattan with students coming from all 5 boroughs. The school population consists of a rich mixture of cultures with 31% Black, 58% Hispanic, 7% Asian and 2% White. English language learners comprise 5% of the school population and 26% of the students receive special education services. 78% of the student body receive free or reduced lunch. The students are enrolled in either the Amy Sullivan-Lee Teaching Academy or the Liberal Arts Academy. Within both academies, students take electives to provide a more in-depth look at different fields of study and select students participate in internships in their field of interest.
